Coral Springs

A brief glance into history:

Order, structure, and clarity – Coral Springs stands as a personification of it all, occupying a special place as a beautifully laid-out city in Broward County. It all began back in 1963 when James S. Hunt ran out of places to develop in Fort Lauderdale and turned his attention to a barren farmland where he laid down the foundation plan to what is now Coral Springs. Mandating broad boulevards lined with trees, perfectly laid roads, generous landscaping and levying strict building codes to keep up the city’s aesthetic appeal, it was a vision that has given Coral Springs its famed consistent quality.

Nestled in the low-lying Broward Country, Coral Springs has had its share of downfalls where its June – November hurricane season brought generous rainfall with destruction in its wake. But that doesn’t deprive the city of its ‘elite’ status, with real estate prices proving significantly higher compared to neighboring areas.

Then came Wilma:

In 2005, the city awoke to a rude shock – Hurricane Wilma. They expected it to come, but its ferocity left everyone startled, shaking the region with its brute strength and bringing about widespread destruction. Its aftermath cut off power to millions for weeks, downed phone lines, reduced some buildings to rubble, shattered high-rise windows, uprooted trees resulting in a loss of around one-third of the tree canopy coverage and robbed the people of the ‘orderliness’ that they’d lived by all these years.

What we did?

After Wilma, Coral Springs was reduced to a pile of chaos, and it seemed like recovery wasn’t on the cards. Thankfully, restoration efforts commenced soon after, and companies like Coral Springs Restoration Company sprang forward to pull the city back on its feet. We helped hundreds of homeowners/ offices recover from the traumatic incident, helping them clear debris, remove stagnant water, fix roofs, decontaminate and restore damaged items.

The city is prepared – and so are we:

Every disaster teaches us something. We’ve learned a great deal and so has the city. It led to dramatic improvements in the city’s power grids, more accurate forecasts, durable phone lines and traffic signal poles, backup generators at grocery stores and gas stations and more. We, on the other hand, have loaded up on cutting-edge equipment and trained our workmen to handle stressful scenarios, so that we’re better prepared for just about any emergency in Coral Springs.
